Gresham Village is one of Watkins’ newest neighborhood shopping centers scheduled to open in 2011. The site of this proposed project is strategically located on County Line Road between the Hillsborough and Polk County lines. Gresham Village is the major retail hub lying south of Interstate 4 and north of State Route 60. To support the tremendous residential growth in this area, three new schools are planned within a three-mile radius of the subject property (elementary, middle school and high school). The shopping center will be part of a mixed-use development which will cover nearly 23 acres in Lakeland, Florida. The project master plan will include 38,000 square feet of retail space and seven outparcels, as well as, 300 garden apartments, 150 single family residences and 10,000 square feet of office space.
